Jacqueline is a global marketer and creative leader with 20 years of experience building and scaling brands across DTC, retail, and media. Her colorful track record includes the launch of successful new properties, creating customer-first omnichannel campaigns, and leading highly productive teams while seamlessly integrating content and commerce.
Jacqueline started as a fashion market editor for ELLE, ELLE Accessories, and ELLEgirl magazines while launching their digital properties in 2006. Riding the digital wave, she launched the fashion and beauty site StyleList for AOL, creating the look, voice, and editorial direction of AOL's very first style destination. When Condé Nast called, Jacqueline spearheaded the launch of Lucky magazine's website and digital initiatives as well as Condé Nast's first e-commerce platform. She continued fashionably merging the content and retail worlds at Time Inc., as the lead editor of InStyle's new shopping and commerce marketing channels. In addition, she created custom digital and print branded content for John Frieda, Christian Dior, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, H&M, and Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl's, amongst others.
As the first brand, marketing, and editorial hire at Rue La La, she was responsible for all storytelling, styling, art direction, content, and bringing merchant partners’ product offerings to life. Here, Jacqueline collaborated with hundreds of brand partners, creating original content for brands such as DVF, Saint Laurent, Valentino, 20th Century Fox, Theory, Christian Louboutin, Cotton Inc., British Airways, Alice + Olivia, Nordstrom, Gap Inc., Burberry, ABC Television Network, Tory Burch, Etsy, Fidelity Investments and more.
After moving to California, Jacqueline worked as the Global Editorial Director at Banana Republic, where she successfully led omnichannel brand campaigns, creative ideation, storytelling, and helped develop and elevate brand collaborations, partnerships, activations, and design. Later, as the Editorial Director at Stitch Fix, she was the lead creative on the launch of Stitch Fix Kids, as well as refining their existing verticals, optimizing customer experience across all content channels (including TV campaigns, print, engagement marketing, emails, organic and paid social, packaging and their Times Square takeover to celebrate their IPO) while partnering closely with the marketing, strategy and merch teams on optimizing conversion, acquisition, and retention of both customers and brand partners. Jacqueline was most recently the VP of Creative at Birdies—a footwear start-up in San Francisco—where she led creative (content, social media, design, photo and art direction, creative, packaging, and storytelling) and brand (strategy, PR, events, partnerships, collaborations, sponsorships, company mission & retail stores) resulting in 1,400% growth in three years.
